Abstract Submission

1. How to submit

Japanese and Japan resident none-Japanese: Membership of JSCB or JSDB is required and an annual membership fee for 2017 must have been paid. Member number is required for registration.
  • If you are not a member of any of the above societies, please apply for a membership first.
    For those who have not paid an annual membership fee, please complete the payment as soon as possible.
    Please note that it takes approximately one week for the JSCB or JSDB membership application to be processed.
APDBN and ISDB members: We accept application from foreign scientists affiliated with APDBN and ISDB.

The Title and abstract body should be less than 200 and 2,000

5.Young Scientist Award for Presentation

Eligibility: Regular or student members of JSCB or JSDB younger than 38 years old (as of January 1, 2018).
How to submit: When submitting your abstract, select ‘Oral Presentation (in English) ’(Presentation Category No.3 - 9) and also select ‘Yes’ for entry of “Young Scientist Award for Presentation,” and submit a one page self-recommendation statement starting with subject title “2018 JSCB-JSDB Joint Meeting Young Scientist Award" and your name to, no later than Monday, February 19, 2018.

6. Poster Award

Eligibility: Student members of JSCB, JSDB, APDBN and ISDB.
How to submit: When submitting your abstract, select one of either ‘Oral Presentation (in English) Only + Poster,’ ‘Satellite Workshop (in Japanese) + Poster,’ or ‘Poster Only’ and select ‘Yes’ for ‘Entry of “Poster Award.”

Presentation Date: June 6 (Wed), 2018, 14:00-16:00 (Day 1)

7. Modification or Cancelation of submitted abstract

Submitted abstract can be modified online before abstract submission deadline. 
Abstract submission
