[2H03] SDGs Reexamined-Lessons Learned from Afrian Experience

1. COVID-19 has put a major paradigm of SDGs in question, while economic gap between the rich and the poor countries has widened. Most African countries have been affected by pandemic-driven economic recession. This roundtable session focuses on African experience for the progress made and lessons learned for SDGs and asks whether and how SDGs should be tailored to reflect the post-COVID19 realities. This session will be organized by JASID ‘SDGs Re-examined’ Research Group (in process). 2. Undemocratization of Africa; root cause of conflicts in Africa; China-Africa relations; rule of law and governance reexamined, grassroots non-governmental activities; inequality in African countries 3. Publication of journal articles and/or book in English on “Africa and SDGs.” This session will be held face-to-face.
