EARTH 2017
PREAMBLE
Following the “Green” Revolution of the 21st century, our society has now embraced the concept of sustainability and is rapidly moving towards this direction. In terms of material production and utilization, this is an ambitious goal, and achieving it requires the advancement of not only our understanding of sustainable resources utilization and development but also of our current processing and recycling technologies. The EARTH symposium series was organized to provide a venue for the discussion of topics on materials processing and recycling, which has been successfully conducted every two years for more than two decades. Two years ago, the 13th EARTH symposium was successfully held in Pattaya, Thailand that ushered the inclusion of ASEAN countries into the fold.
We are proud to announce that the 14th International Symposium on East Asian Resources Recycling Technology (EARTH 2017) will be held on September 26-29, 2017 in the beautiful and scenic city of Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. This conference will be jointly organized with the Annual Fall Meeting of the Mining and Materials Processing Institute of Japan (MMIJ).
