[PE1-008] Study on dechlorination process of general waste incineration ash
キーワード:Cement use, Friedel chlorine, Mechanochemistry, Planetary ball mill, Dechlorination
The residual years of the final disposal place for the Japanese municipal wastes are 19.3 years in 2013, and these tends to decrease every year. Therefore the effective use of the incineration ash which generates 3,400,000 tons a year is desired. It is the residue to incinerate the municipal wastes. It must be used in the cement industry to solve the environment problem.
Corrosion by chlorine in the incineration ash is considered. Chlorine of the insolubility called Friedel salt exists in chlorine compounds in the incineration ash. The current state the removal of chlorine isn't sufficient only by flush processing. The removal of chlorine by mechanochemistry using planetary ball mill was considered as a new dechlorination process.
Incineration ash was grounded by planetary ball mill and filtered after flush. The chlorine amount was measured by ion chromatography and XRF and EPMA. Calcium oxide and ion-exchanged water were added in the grinding pod. The optimum removal condition of chlorine would be decided in a change for the amount of these additives and grinding time.
