We have set up the following three awards.
 

  Excellent presentations win the WCOS 2022 Excellent Presentation Award. All presenters automatically become candidates of this award. The award winners get 50,000 Yen as a supplementary prize. In addition, the award winners have the right to submit a review or regular article related to the topic presented at WCOS 2022 on special issue of Journal of Oleo Science without any charge.

・RSC Advances Award
 Young researchers under the age of 40 have the right to apply for RSC Advances Award sponsored by Royal Society of Chemistry. Young researchers who made excellent presentations with an international influence will win this award. Award winners will have the right of one year free-access to one academic journal published by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
 
・Student Award
 Students who made excellent presentations will win this award. The award winners get a 10,000 Yen gift card as a supplementary prize. Students have the right to receive both the RSC Advanced Award and the Student Award in addition to WCOS2022 Excellent Presentation Award.
 

  Thank you for applying for the Select Lecture Award.   The submission page was closed on Dec. 31, 2021.

  Applicants of Select Lectures of WCOS 2022 are invited to submit an abstract of the lecture in the congress. Please prepare a three-page abstract, which includes your biographical information, using the template [Select Lecture Abstract Template] and submit the PDF file on the [Select Lecture Submission Page]. The presentation topic should be related to the conference theme: 1) science on lipids, oils, fats, and their related industrial technologies, 2) oleo materials & nanotechnologies, and 3) surfactant, detergent, and interface science. Once the abstract is accepted, please prepare a 20-minute presentation video for an on-demand session.
 

　　WCOS 2022 Select Lecture Award

  Authors who go successfully through a selection process for Select Lectures win the WCOS 2022 Select Lecture Award. The authors get 70,000 Yen as a supplementary prize and no registration fee is required for the participation in WCOS 2022. In addition, the authors have the right to submit a review or regular article related to the topic presented at WCOS 2022 for the special issue of the Journal of Oleo Science free of charge.

・On-demand session: 20-minute presentation video
・Live stream session: 3-minute talk and 5-minute discussion
